Oh deary me! I know I'm supposed to be Gen Y and therefore completly computer savvy but it has taken about 10 minutes just to work out how on earth I post an entry! Perhaps someone should just put me down now!

Anyway...I will soon be making my LJ far more current than this and actually in keeping with my interests etc. And perhaps it will become a little less green too (once I remember how to do that!)

Did I just hear someone say 'Osuwari'.....gotta go!!

Jane Eyre, and a note for Madrono...

Sorry I've taken so long to comment on this episode.....every time I came to switch my computer on I somehow accidentally ended up switching my tv on and watching this weeks Jane Eyre instead, I think I now know it by heart!!

Every bit of it was just amazing....obviously the whole proposal scene, the whole time she was shouting at him and getting upset you could just see the way he was thinking that he really really shouldn't ask her to marry him, but then in the end he just couldn't resist!

Its annoying tho because when I re-watch it I want to stop the tape just before their wedding gets interrupted but I can't because then I'd miss the wonderful scene when he's explaining about when Jane came to Thornfield and how he couldn't help but fall in love with her, my favourite line was when he said:

"You wonder why I wanted her...why I risked the wroth of God to get her"

That just completly broke my heart, and at the end, when he's asking her to go away with him, while she is taking off her wedding dress and...oh I can't think about it it's too sad!

So, we have now exactly 4 days, 1 hours and 11 minutes until it returns :(

The most ridiculous thing is that I think almost I'm looking forward to that more than I'm looking forward to my birthday on saturday...almost, oh what a piteous life I lead!

Thats a point, Amy, if you're reading this...can we do lunch on sat? I'm gonna be home all weekend yay!

Most girls can relate with Marianne on a more personal level than some of Austen's other characters. She represents the emotional longings and struggles that seem to attack and bless us at the same time. Loyal to a fault, passionate for experience and life, and a bit over-emotional, Marianne matures and grows (making her so beloved).

Marianne Dashwood

78%

Emma Woodhouse

72%

Jane Bennet

69%

Elinor Dashwood

59%

Charlotte Lucas

47%

Elizabeth Bennet

44%

Lady Catherine

34%

</td>

Which Jane Austen Character are You?
Right, here goes.....

Hello! I'm Emily, I'm new...well I'm not actually, I've had an LJ for months but haven't had a clue how to use it, however, after being told that really i was being stupid and it was actually really simple, i've decided to bite the bullet and face my fears!! Any tips or comments always welcome, esp if they have anything to do with men who are not from this planet for example...Dr Who, or Superman... :)
